There was no elevator.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, but there were ants everywhere on the bed in the bathroom and a water leak from the roof; instead of moving me to another room or fixing the problem, they just handed me some towels.

Breakfast was good and the service during breakfast was edelleen, and honestly I’m not sure what to say because I was happy to stay there.

The only game in town if you want nice & modern is this place, and one of the most important things is that it has an elevator; Maramag is very rural and the closest larger town is Valencia City, but you still can’t find a better hotel. Shopping is fine, but not a hotel. Exceptional hot water and pressure for showers, relatively quiet, though roosters still wake you. Maramag is very small with few options for good shopping or dining. The hotel has a nice restaurant on the top floor, but it was closed for Christmas dinner because of the hotel Christmas party with no advance notice to guests, so we had to go to Jollybee…not good, because all of Maranag was there and it took an hour to get bad, cold tasting food. Another complaint is that although we prepaid for three days, we had to renew our key cards daily. Overall, I’m happy with our time there and will stay again. The elevator, new, modern, hot water, wifi, staff were all positives.
