I booked a room with a desk for studying before a competition the next day, but there was no desk and the room was much smaller than the misleading photos on the site. When I asked for a change, the staff were hostile and uninterested, insisting it was the room I had booked—later disproved by screenshots compared to the actual photos sent to Booking. They told me to “wait for Booking’s reply,” but I had already reached out urgently because I only had one night. The hotel’s response times worsened, eventually not replying at all to the request on the site. It was a horrible experience, wandering around Naples to find a quiet spot to study that afternoon before the exam, all because of their poor customer handling and false statements about the room. They violated Booking’s policy against misleading images, effectively deceiving and scamming me.

The photos were completely unrelated to the room we stayed in. It was a very small room with very limited space. The bathroom was dirty, the shower had mold, and the shower curtain didn’t close properly. The toilet chain didn’t provide enough water to flush the paper.
