The yakata‑boat dinner while watching the ukai was wonderful ✨, yet there were hardly any cute yukata patterns; if there were more pretty designs I’d love to wear one again.

All the staff were friendly, the room was spotless, the bath was immaculate and the night view was stunning. It would have been nicer to have bottled drinking water in the room; I assume tap water is drinkable, but I’m a bit hesitant.

Every room offered a great night view, and the high‑altitude location meant the shuttle bus was convenient. Kids loved the ice‑candy and water after the bath, and the breakfast buffet had many tasty options, including a few local dishes and fresh‑baked croissants. Still, the worn‑out slippers and floor tiles that were peeling or cracked remained unrepaired, which was disappointing for a place that isn’t cheap; visible areas need fixing. Also, the bathtub had several hairs stuck to it, which felt unsanitary.
