“Lovely break in a small hotel with character!”

I stayed right in the old town’s heart, the lobby and dining area were charming, the room was comfy with a big bed and plenty of space, and breakfast varied nicely each day. The staff were friendly and one receptionist even let me borrow her umbrella. The curtains in our room didn’t close completely, and the noise level was high – we knew about it beforehand and it didn’t bother us, though it might for others.

“Not many staff understood English. It was more good than bad though a bit overpriced”

The location was solid, but it was very noisy until the early hours. There’s a Nescafe for breakfast, but the pool is awkwardly shared with a restaurant, which feels odd.

“Das Mediterra Art Hotel - absolut empfehlenswert !”

The rooms are well equipped with a fridge, TV, and safe. The hotel sits in an ideal spot in the old town. Breakfast is good and plentiful, and the staff are helpful and friendly. I have no complaints; the evening music that many criticize didn’t bother me – we enjoy long warm evenings and rarely go to bed before midnight.

“Horrible. No sleep is possible with loud music right outside the room door. Never book it again.”

Breakfast was fine, but the hotel’s vibe was off. A band in the restaurant played right outside my door late into the night every evening, making sleep impossible since the bed was only a few metres away. The staff wouldn’t change my room, claiming all rooms had the same issue, and the room wasn’t cleaned even though I had a sign on the door.

The location was great, the hotel pool was a nice touch, the staff were friendly, the bedding was superb, and the price‑quality ratio was solid. The only downside was the noise at night.
