“Pareu, visiteu i gaudiu!”
The stay was delicious. We loved the location, the setting. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and tasteful. The highlight was the Hor tub, which was fantastic. Absolutely recommended!

The bed was very comfortable.

The sleeping area was very well maintained. I think the kitchen and bathroom could use some improvement, but everything was clean.

Private accommodation with fairly large spaces and everything very clean. Private bathroom, not common in Iceland. The double bed was very comfortable. It’s a short walk from the town of Laugar, which has all the services (fuel, restaurant, supermarket). A few minutes by car takes you to Lake Myvatn and several beautiful tourist spots, so the location is quite strategic. Free parking is available next to the property. The electric stoves might be a bit dated and the shower is at floor level.

The hosts were very nice and the place is somewhat secluded, which makes it very quiet. I ate dinner four times there, all very tasty. Since I had enough supplies for breakfast, I skipped it. Camping is possible on a meadow, and there are picnic benches. Both approaches are gravel roads about 20 km each, in good condition; you just need to drive a bit faster, then the car “flies” over the potholes and the “washboard” loses intensity. I can’t understand the negative reviews.
