The location is central. I didn’t like that the shared fridge was robbed twice of the food we left the night before. I reported the first incident to the host, who replied that they can’t be held responsible for shared spaces and that a departing guest might have taken our food. The second time, in the morning, we found the cleaning lady had put all guests’ food on the hallway floor next to her bag. We asked her not to take it, yet by afternoon the fridge was empty. Returning from the hike, I had another expense because I couldn’t eat the food stored in the fridge. Unfortunately, it wasn’t just us; other guests experienced the same thing. About 25–30 € went missing. I believe the host is responsible for their staff. I’ve stayed at many hotels in Europe, but this was the first time I encountered such an issue. In short, no one should store food in the fridge here because it will disappear! The reviews show that I’m not the only one who had this experience.

We arrived in the evening as scheduled and found the room completely dirty; it hadn’t been cleaned, so we had to leave to have it cleaned, which was frustrating after a trip when you just want to use the bathroom and relax.

We had a problem with the sewage system. It smelled very bad.

The location was exactly what we needed for our trip to Corsica. The room was huge and the air conditioning worked well. However, the stay didn’t match the price we paid. We ran into several maintenance and cleanliness issues. The toilet flush was extremely noisy, almost unbearable. The sink drained very slowly and water tended to stagnate while brushing teeth. One shower glass was loose, risking a fall. The room lighting had lamps placed far from the bed that weren’t wired to the electrical system, so they were unusable. Coffee supplies were minimal: only two pods and a sugar sachet—there were three of us—plus no cups or teaspoons. A kettle was present, but no tea bags. When we cleaned the room we found dust under the bed, indicating it hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned. Towels were scarce: one small and one slightly larger per person. The third bed was a small cot, far from comfortable. Overall, we expected a higher level of care, maintenance, and service, especially given the cost.
