Very warm welcome, historic hotel, ideal location for hikes and the train station is nearby. All facilities are top‑class. The owners and staff are attentive. The restaurant is worthy of a gastronomic experience. Everything was absolutely perfect here; we will come back!

This place in Aappenzell Weissbad feels like a dream. Surrounded by mountains, the front is a huge grassy hill—my idea of a Swiss fairy‑tale. Even though I didn’t get my first choice, they upgraded me for free on the day of arrival, and the view was stunning. The décor is cozy and elegant everywhere—from the room to the dining area and even the staircase, and the staff were warm and friendly, making every day in Switzerland feel like a pleasant surprise.

The balcony view is gorgeous and the breakfast is tasty. The train station is just a two‑minute walk, and it stays quiet. Alpenblick feels like home, and the staff really care—though my tip on the pillow never made it to the cleaning lady, which was a first for me after all my European trips. Still, it’s a great spot to spend a few days in Aappenzell, and I’ll bring my family next time.
