How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
We loved how close the accommodation was to the sea and the staff were very friendly and nice. The rooms felt a bit worn out and fell short of what you’d expect from a four‑star property; the value for money didn’t match our expectations. Moreover, the place is really remote, and after dark there isn’t much happening in the area.

The location is superb and the restaurant is very good with fair prices. The beach service is excellent and premium. The integrated spa is reasonably priced and has good staff.

The hotel isn’t bad overall, but there are better options for the money. The tap water had a strong iron smell and the toilet water was really yellow—definitely not great. Breakfast at 480 Baht is over the top for Thailand. The location at the end of the place makes it hard to get away without a scooter because of the hills. The pool wasn’t very clean, so I didn’t go in.

I stayed 5 days at Sea Valley, a boutique resort with bungalows, a restaurant, and a pool, literally on the beach. The room was clean with modern A/C, and the beach had clear water and sunset views on the west coast. The food and drinks on site were great and affordable, especially considering how Samui has become pricey for Western travelers. A special thanks to the team who manage the Restaurant, Pool & Beach—they made our stay special and treated us like family. Sawadee krub to Tun Tun, Bobo, Min, Dar Dar, and John for your daily kindness 🙏 The staff were truly kind, attentive, and the hotel felt wonderful. Their hospitality was excellent in every way, and the room was spacious and comfortable, letting me relax. I was very satisfied with everything and would love to stay again when I visit Samui. Thank you for a wonderful stay, especially the restaurant staff Tun Tun, Bobo, Min, Dar Dar, John. The resort is very calm and quiet because it’s a bit far from the main hubs of the island, which is fine since you’re also away from mass international tourism. The nearest restaurants are a 10‑minute walk from the resort.
