The host was very kind, the area quiet and the courtyard lovely. The rooms were completely in order. The train station is about 2 minutes away.

The house had a truly unique vibe. We received a delicious, fresh breakfast served on a beautiful table! Everywhere else we’d been, we’d usually get a bottle of wine as a welcome gift, but here it was pálinka. Some people like it, some don’t. I think the price, which isn’t cheap for a single person, could have included the welcome drink and coffee for breakfast – it’s odd that we had to pay for that too.

The breakfast was freshly prepared, plentiful, and the hosts were very kind. The room was clean and tidy. Villánykövesd is a wonderful gem of the countryside.

The owners are amazing. While they were preparing breakfast, we had pleasant conversations. They showed us around and told the story of the place. I can only recommend.
