The location was good. It was noisy, the staff shouted from early in the morning in front of the bedroom doors, and they did loud repairs very early. The air‑conditioner was old and extremely noisy, making it hard to sleep. The comforter had stains that looked like blood. The check‑out process, with repeated messages, felt almost harassing.

I've always believed that the best secrets should stay that way, but after staying at this wonderful hotel in the gallery district, I'm breaking my own rule. I've stayed there multiple times and always appreciated the staff for their professionalism and hospitality. The first time I stayed there several years ago, I took a shared shuttle from the airport—hilariously, when I was dropped off, everyone else on the shuttle was bound for various all‑inclusive resorts, and I overheard someone ask their boyfriend, "Why aren't we staying here!?"—which was the vibe I got from everyone else realizing there are far more interesting alternatives to the all‑inclusive scene. If you're looking for an amazing boutique hotel right in the heart of the city, next to the best tacos you'll find and want to connect with the real Cabo, El Encanto Inn & Suites is well worth considering.

This is a beautiful hotel with lovely interior gardens and a pool setting. Very quiet! The staff were super friendly and helpful! Excellent location in the arts district with many restaurants and shops nearby! This was my second time staying at this property and I would definitely return!

The location and architecture are good, but the pool and equipment don't work. Privacy and personal security are totally missing; anyone can walk in and take photos without any control. When I complained to the owner, she said, "HERE EVERYONE CAN ENTER AND TOUR THE PROPERTY ALL THE TIME." That could be fine if it were listed as a feature, but not everyone likes being seen or photographed while in their bedroom. Totally absurd.
