We didn’t realize we had to pay for parking. The $69 extra charge for parking was unexpected, and that was for self‑park. Valet would have cost $10 plus a daily fee. We parked and left the car for two nights, leaving early on the last day. I think $69 for two nights is a bit much! The walk from the parking lot to the room is quite a trek.

What I liked was the location—it was close to the riverwalk. What I didn’t like was that when we arrived there were no spots for us to park for check‑in. Cars were parked diagonally and never moved, and the rest was reserved for valet. After checking in we had to scan a QR code for parking and then pay. Once we paid we pulled into the private parking lot after scanning our room card. We parked in the handicap spot at the front of the lot because we had a handicap person. The next day we left to go out and came back to find a handicap spot, but cars were parked all over, not properly blocking the aisle. On the last day we talked to a valet person who said that it didn’t matter where we parked because we owned the lot. Even though it’s a private lot, you still can’t park in a handicap spot without a handicap placard or license plate. They were using all those spots and aisles to park valet cars. They also parked cars on sidewalks, blocking the pathway for the wheelchair we had; we had to take her down the curb just to get her to the car. They say they are wheelchair accessible and handicap accessible, but they can’t even provide what we need. They also made us pay for valet parking when we did self‑parking. I also wish the breakfast had more options; there wasn’t a lot to choose from.

I was charged three times even though I told the front desk I had already paid before arriving at the hotel.

The staff were very nice and helpful. We loved the outdoor lounge space—it was very relaxing.

Everything was fine: a comfortable room, a good location for restaurants (though most were closed on Sunday), easy parking, and a good breakfast.
