When I stayed there in October, everything seemed a bit shabby; it feels like a location that rents by the hour.

The pool looked abandoned – it was empty and nobody was there.

I chose it because it was just 2 miles from Ephesus, but upon arrival the owner said we hadn’t paid enough for breakfast (£13 each) and then denied us breakfast; at checkout he refunded us £3 each, yet we wanted breakfast because there’s no food at Ephesus.

A great spot to explore the surroundings, everything else was fine.

A simple escape with an Australian vibe; Attila, the owner, is very friendly, and the staff are welcoming. The room offers a pleasant, uncomplicated stay and is close to Ephesus for an early visit the next day. I’d have liked more time to relax by the pool and soak in the atmosphere. The morning coffee was fantastic, and the medieval views were amazing.
