The air conditioning was amazing—so cold I had to turn it off. The hotel was quiet and the room had a nice vibe, but that was about it. The place was dirty—cobwebs, dust everywhere. The bed was uncomfortable with flat pillows and springs that seemed like they might break through. The coffee was unbranded, there was no fridge, no bottled water, and no cookies on arrival, unlike other DoubleTree properties.

Not much to say—hotel services were fairly ordinary compared to other competitors, but acceptable. THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT: Although the correct amount of £380.05 was charged for my stay, an additional £518.92 was wrongly and illegally debited from my bank account for services that were neither provided nor requested. I emailed the Southampton hotel asking for a refund and have yet to get any reply, not even an acknowledgment. This is not a professional way to run a business! I LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING FROM YOU.
