“Non per turisti occidentali”
The location is convenient, close to the bus station. It was very dirty and neglected.

The staff were flexible, and the local breakfast was good.

I stayed in a centrally located hotel where the staff were pleasant and let me tweak my reservation without any hassle. Nothing else to complain about.

The hotel is well‑situated, not far from the train station and city centre, and it’s mostly quiet compared to the city’s bustle. The hostess was kind and, despite the communication difficulties we faced, she always tried to satisfy us. I mention this to help foreign travelers, but I might be wrong and this isn’t meant as a negative review. I think it’s a local hotel, not specifically for tourists, so don’t expect tourist information to plan your stay in Jaffna. The breakfast is Sri Lankan, which can be surprising (especially for us, it was our first Sri Lankan breakfast), but when we asked, the hostess kindly offered bread, jam and fruit for the following breakfasts.
