The room was quiet, accessed by a staircase, spacious, clean, and featured a well‑furnished bathroom. A kettle with a selection of tea and coffee, a small minibar, and a comfortable bed were all provided. We stayed for one night and were very satisfied, and communication with Daniel was outstanding.

There was no positive aspect. The hostess gave a very poor welcome, but her husband was there to counter her bad mood. She never said hello in the morning and ate her lunch in the kitchen after 40 years of running a guesthouse—this was the first time I’d seen that. We had a double booking for the same date, ended up on the street, and she only welcomed us the next day. She claimed she wasn’t allowed to rent outside the stated dates, so I paid in cash and she refused to give me a receipt.

The surroundings and accommodation were peaceful. However, there was no cutlery, no small knife to peel an apple, or a knife to spread.

Being able to park the car right in the garden was a huge plus, and the hosts were genuinely friendly. The upstairs part of the house where we stayed was set up nicely, and we enjoyed the house pets as well as the shared pool and garden. The only gripe was the mattress – I kept shifting around trying to find a comfortable spot.
