“Croissants congelats i cremats”
The house is well‑situated for exploring the area, a four‑room gîte with a communal space and a well‑equipped kitchen that has a fairly large table for shared meals, though not all guests can eat together at once. The décor is good, a rural‑modern vibe. The communal area, aside from the kitchen table, only has a two‑seater sofa and two armchairs, which is far too small for the house’s capacity of up to eight people. In our premium, large room there was just a broken‑back wicker armchair and a makeshift seat made from two logs, hardly comfortable for reading or watching TV. The room Wi‑Fi doesn’t reach. The worst part was breakfast: €12 per person for a croissant and a piece of thawed bread—there’s no shop in the village—plus a glass of Tetra‑Fabrics juice, a bit of butter and jam from Super. If the thawed bread isn’t quite right, you’re left with a burnt croissant and a stale loaf.
