“Tomadura de pelo”
There’s a bus nearby to get to the center of Venice for 1.5. I never write a review, but it’s a place worth doing. When I read the chat to find out what check‑in would be like, I got a message saying the property wasn’t available, that it had been rented, and another message below saying what time we were arriving and that reception would be open until 6. I replied that I’d be there in 15 minutes. With nerves about what I’d find, I arrived to a property that looked like it was for sale or unoccupied and saw a message saying I had to go to a distant address about 15 minutes away. We called to ask if we would be given a key or why I was going there. The man didn’t speak English or Spanish, told us we were going there and we’d meet his colleague. When we got there, the area was a bit weird and the entrance even more so. A guy came out to tell us to wait downstairs, that they were doing an earlier check‑in. My friend and I thought he was preparing our room and since there was no one there, he told us to stay there. We waited and went up 4/5 floors without an elevator. When we got there, the room, the room, good, nothing more, normal for the price. He shows us the kitchen, the bathroom and the living room and tells us we can use them whenever we want, but everything was very dirty and the bathroom was full of rust. And he tells us we have to pay the tourist tax. I, not liking to be taken advantage of, showed him the bill where it clearly…
They let me in earlier than the scheduled check‑in time, but the place was very dirty.
“Fuyez ce logement”
The place was in a good spot, but it wasn’t an apartment—just three rooms. We used two and found a foreign person in the third. The kitchen had a dirty fridge that worked poorly, no cutlery, plates, bowls, or cups, a non‑functional stove, only a small microwave and a questionable electric kettle. The bathroom wasn’t very clean, the shower door and tray were broken, the cabinet above the sink was worn, and the rooms smelled of old cheese with high humidity.
I liked the location, very convenient, but there was no kettle to make coffee or tea.
The spot is excellent, everything was fine.
