This spot is truly a little paradise, a beautiful place and a lovely cottage! The host answered my questions super quickly. The shared kitchen was fully equipped and there was coffee and snacks available. We wanted to let the fresh mountain air in at night, but there were no screens on the windows so mosquitoes came in. With the windows closed it felt a bit stuffy inside. We would have liked a double mattress.

The simple and rustic style of the accommodation fits very well into the landscape. The room door squeaks and could disturb other guests.

We absolutely lived in the old village house. It was off the beaten track—exactly what we wanted. The handmade crockery was delightful, and the bed was comfortable with lovely linen. The house smelled of cedar wood! The nearby mountain and canyon walks were outstanding, and the gorgeous little beach at the canyon’s end was uncrowded and beautiful. The local taverna served wonderful fare. Stella and George were very attentive but not intrusive hosts.

The location is nice, rustic and simple yet beautifully done. It was very clean and looked freshly renovated. You can sit outside nicely, and the homemade jam and honey are really good. I can’t understand the uniformly positive reviews! The description doesn’t say that more travelers arrive around 22:00. It also doesn’t mention that the kitchen is shared. You enter the kitchen through the apartment door. On the left is the triple‑bedroom with a bathroom, on the right the double‑bedroom with a bathroom. It’s noisy‑through‑walls, so you hear everything from the other room (so you probably won’t get a light sleep or you’re sensitive). I would have liked to know beforehand that the apartment is shared with others! That should be in the description; otherwise you’re shocked and annoyed. Maybe the others always had good luck and the second room stayed empty or was also rented. In addition, the apartment smelled terribly chemical—plastic, paint, or a strong cleaning agent—when we arrived. After hours of ventilation it got better (so it’s not always present). It was really intense. The mattresses already have light stains, but you don’t smell them, and we were there in the off‑season… probably it’s better in summer.
