The hotel’s location is superb—right in the historic centre and pedestrian zone, just 8‑10 minutes on foot from the bus station, with a closer stop 5‑7 minutes away. Intercity buses, especially those to and from Rovereto, stop at every intermediate stop. The riverside and pier are also a five‑minute walk. Around there are souvenir shops, restaurants, and a small minimarket. The hotel sits in a very colourful and authentic old building, just like the surrounding houses. The room is decent, clean, with a large comfortable bed and excellent linens. Still, be prepared to accept a bit of “time‑worn” character as part of the exotic authenticity rather than a comfort shortfall. Breakfasts are very good—generous portions of bread, cheese, ham, butter, jam, honey, Nutella, juice, tea, coffee, croissants, and even fruit—everything of high quality. In good weather tables are set outside; in bad weather, a cute hall on the first floor. Dinner can also be had there in the evening. The staff are very welcoming, the hostess has an Italian charm and expressiveness, and all of this comes for 100 € per day for two people (dinner excluded). In today’s terms this is very inexpensive; finding apartments for that price is not easy. So the price‑quality ratio definitely earns the highest rating. The only downside was that the bathroom could use a bit of modernization.
