This hidden gem in Old Bangkok/Khao San area is very simple but has everything you need, and the owner Sam is an absolute legend—honestly the best host I’ve had in the past two years of travelling.

Green Garden was the highlight of my stay in Bangkok, offering the perfect mix of quiet and relaxation while still being easy to talk to people and meet friends because of how cosy the outside was; if you want a place that balances social and relaxing, don’t overthink it and book it—I had a really nice stay! Rooms aren’t overcrowded, only four people, so I slept well; bathroom facilities aren’t luxurious, but if you’re not a picky traveler it’s alright; the owners and family living there were friendly, the area is full of restaurants, and main attractions are easily walkable; there are also many temples and markets around.

The lady in charge speaks English very well and is incredibly kind and helpful; the outdoor terrace is absolutely amazing—it really makes the whole place! I loved spending time there and will definitely come back next time. Highly recommend!

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, gave me many tips on what to do, and were extremely kind; the place was always clean and tidy, and it felt cozy!
