There isn’t a full DSTV bouquet, so rugby isn’t available, and there’s no Wi‑Fi even though it’s advertised as being available.

The room was clean and neat, and the food was great—especially the rump steak and the mutton stew. The entrance gave off a slightly run‑down vibe, but once inside everything was beautifully maintained.

It felt like staying in a historic room; I absolutely loved it. The staff were super helpful and friendly, even during the town’s initial power cut (luckily electricity returned that evening).

Breakfast was excellent with plenty of options, offering good value for money. The evening meal was simple, well‑cooked, and of excellent quality, served with friendly service. No Wi‑Fi in the room, but that wasn’t an issue since the bar had it, and the phone would go to sleep when I used it.
