“Experiencia curiosa”
Being on a sailboat in the harbor was a unique perk, but the bathroom felt cramped and the drain was a hassle, while the rooms were uncomfortable.
“Amazing stay on a Sailboat”
Everything was amazing; the host was very accommodating with check‑in after we had an issue arriving by ferry from Gran Canaria and had to reschedule, the sailboat sits right at the marina and is a short walk to restaurants and the city centre, and the boat itself provided a perfect, relaxing stay for the last few days of a two‑week trip—I would highly recommend it for a unique experience in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Nothing else to note.
The boat is beautiful, very well‑situated, clean, and well‑prepared by the owner who welcomed us in person, explained how the boat works, and described marina services (shower, toilet, laundry, parking); pleasant meals can be had outside in the cockpit. The downside is that it’s a boat: it moves a bit when the harbor water is choppy and the pontoons creak, so bring earplugs if you’re sensitive to noise.
“Un bateau en centre-ville !”
The marina’s proximity to the city centre was great, the boat was well‑equipped and very comfortable, and the hosts were extremely helpful.
“A unique and memorable stay”
Staying on a boat in the heart of Santa Cruz was a truly special experience that I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for something different; the location is absolutely unbeatable with easy access to the city centre and excellent public transport connections, Ruben is an outstanding host—warm, friendly, and genuinely available around the clock to help with anything you might need, and we never felt alone or unsupported; the boat was fully equipped with everything you could ask for, and one of the highlights of our mornings was cooking breakfast and enjoying it on deck—pure bliss; the only minor note worth mentioning is that there was just one access card for the whole group, which made coordinating movements a little tricky at times, so having at least two cards would add a nice touch of flexibility, but honestly that’s a very small thing in an otherwise fantastic experience. Thank you, Ruben—we’ll definitely be back!
