The peaceful surroundings were lovely, the spacious room offered a beautiful view, and the large bathroom had a fantastic shower; the restaurant/pub was within walking distance. The breakfast was also very good. It would have been great if you could walk straight from the B&B with the dogs, but you can if you take the car and enjoy the stunning views.

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The hosts were both lovely. The accommodation felt like home but with better views. Every product and dish was organic and delicious. Having a kitchen and a little garden to use was a great bonus. We wish we could have stayed longer but will return.

The bedroom was huge with a very large bed and amazing countryside views. It was warm and a good base for local walks, pubs, and nearby attractions. An ancient church is within walking distance, and the Woody Bay narrow gauge railway is just a few miles away. The Wi‑Fi was very good, and the local community shop serves excellent coffee and cakes. The only downside was the lack of mobile signal due to the situation.

Breakfast was excellent, with fresh fruit, bread, pastries, plenty of cereal options, yoghurt, and preserves each morning. The location was convenient for our plans, and walking to the nearby pub that served good food was a plus. It was also nice to have an outdoor seating area. We look forward to returning! The only drawback was that because another guest was in the adjacent room, we had to keep quiet during breakfast to avoid disturbing them.
