Everything was good, but the towels need better washing—sometimes it felt like they were just rinsed without detergent, and there were visible stains from previous temporary owners.

The breakfast selection was good, dinner was a bit repetitive. The location is central. The hotel didn’t feel like a 4‑star property. Rooms were basic, corridors could be noisy, and there was no real soundproofing. Room service was inconsistent; some days you got a bath mat, some days you didn’t; some days you had new mugs, tea & coffee, some days not. The plastic balcony chairs were basic. It’s a pity there were no water stations, which feels like a basic expectation in reception areas these days. The hotel loungers couldn’t be reserved, but every day they were covered in towels very early and some beds were empty for hours – the hotel should do better or at least do what they say they would do.

I loved the food and the overall vibe of the hotel; it was definitely worth a visit and I’d return without a second thought.

The food was available all day and offered a great variety, but there weren’t enough sunbeds for the crowd, with people lining up from 7am to secure one.
