I was thrilled by the spot—quiet and right on the beach, perfect for a chill getaway. The bungalows were lovely, and the breakfast buffet was beautifully arranged. The beach stayed calm and shallow from 9‑16, until locals came to swim. The downside was that the restaurant was empty at dinner, probably because it opens late; the menu only came on request, so it felt a bit lacking. Nearby, several fresh seafood spots are worth checking out. Unfortunately, the street‑food vendors and local customers leave a lot of plastic on the beach, which the waves often swallow, making swimming feel uncomfortable. The locals seem unaware that their trash is destroying South Asia’s beautiful coastlines, unlike Thailand, Malaysia, and Cambodia, but that’s a broader Vietnamese issue, not the resort’s fault—so still a 10/10.

I visited a small town to see the Cham Pa ruins and stayed at a wide, beautiful resort right by the sea. The property faces the ocean directly and is still under development. It’s a bit away from Tamky’s center, but a Grab ride gets you there. The Chien Dan and Cuong My ruins are great for travelers interested in Champaa culture, so this resort is a solid choice. The place is excellently maintained.

The location is great, the staff friendly, and the place clean. Overall, it’s a very interesting spot for a calm getaway. Along the waterfront there are excellent cafés with superb seafood at very reasonable prices. Mostly locals stay here, and foreigners are almost absent. A market nearby mainly sells sea‑food holes, so if you want fresh fruit you need to go to Tamki (about 122k dong). The only downside is that the pool water is a bit too warm.
