The location is excellent, the rooms are nice, and the service—especially at the reception and dinner—is very friendly. Breakfast overall is good, though there is room for improvement.

The rooms are lovely, and the surroundings are beautiful. We didn’t book a meal, and there was no option left because of a gathering.

Breakfast was great, the room was small but very quiet. The roof terrace at the end of the corridor was fantastic, and the overall vibe in the house was very pleasant. The days were hot, and only after persistent requests did we receive a fan because the rooms aren’t air‑conditioned. It would also be nice to have a fridge in the rooms.

The hotel sits wonderfully amid nature and is an ideal base for trips into the Palatinate Forest. The villa was tastefully restored in a modern, functional style and offers comfortable rooms plus a lovely park terrace. The restaurant serves tasty Mediterranean food. For hot summer days the hotel is unfortunately ill‑prepared: the rooms have no air‑conditioning and heat up quickly to over 30 °C; fans were not available upon request. Because there are no window screens, the windows can’t be opened at night without letting insects in, even though the forest setting would otherwise be a benefit. Given the price range we also expected a minibar or at least a way to self‑serve drinks—especially since the reception and service are not staffed continuously and the hotel is outside the town. Overall the property has great potential but feels conceptually a bit outdated and offers too little for the price.

Breakfast was good! The rooms had no fridge or air‑conditioning, and the staff were not friendly.
