The pool was a great size and they also had balls and floats to use. The location was great, only a few minutes’ walk from Mushroom Bay beach. The staff were very friendly and always said good morning and good evening. It was a nice quiet location so we weren’t woken up by other guests or outside noise. The door to the room had a large gap that let in loads of mosquitoes; we spent ages at night trying to get rid of them and got bitten badly, which was really unpleasant. The bathroom wasn’t very clean, was run down, and also had a very strong chemical scent that made us feel sick. They offer bike rental here which we paid 80k for and had to fill up with petrol (another 50k) but on the first day we noticed that it had a flat tire. When we showed them this they took it to the shop to be fixed but didn’t give us another bike to use in the meantime or our money back, so we had to rent another bike for 100k elsewhere. The next day they gave us a new bike for 80k and when we stopped off at a shop the bike refused to start, we had to get a local to help us get it back up and running. After this we didn’t rent anymore bikes from here.

A must avoid! One star because I’m really forced. We stayed at this hotel and it was a catastrophic experience. There were at least 25 mosquitoes in the room that we had to kill ourselves. The door key was rusty and didn’t work from the start, but the staff still wanted us to pay a deposit because of that. We even had to sleep with the key on the door open from the outside, no better option, very dangerous since we were two girls in the room. There was no hot water and a water leak in the bathroom, the wifi barely worked. The staff were not pleasant, no “goodbye” at departure. The sheets were dirty, the door let in noise and mosquitoes, and in the morning we heard the staff playing music right next to us. Frankly, a disastrous experience I absolutely do not recommend.

The spot is right on the beach, just a quick walk away, and the staff were incredibly friendly; definitely coming back.
