The staff were very attentive and friendly, and when I ran into a booking issue they sorted it out right away; the restaurant was fantastic, the décor gorgeous and purposeful, and the location was outstanding.

Situated in a nature reserve beside a remarkable monument (old monastery/chapel), it was wonderfully quiet; the owners, managers and staff were pleasant, and the building itself is very beautiful, tastefully converted into a hotel.

The location and the staff were great, but the hairpin turns were annoying.

The hotel, its location, and the staff were very good, but we booked two rooms for a group of friends and upon arrival discovered that neither room had hot water for showers, which was unacceptable after a 7‑hour journey and before dinner; we complained and were told maintenance would fix it by morning, yet that never happened, forcing us to take cold showers that were unpleasant; we raised the issue at breakfast, but the staff member was alone preparing food with no manager present, and no one has yet offered a partial refund; we stayed on Monday 5th October 27 and chose this hotel only because it was close to the Brittany Ferry Port for our return to the UK.
