Everything about this place hit the mark – the room was clean, the staff were friendly, the location convenient and the food surprisingly good. I didn’t run into any issues, so I’d gladly book again.

What really stood out was the owner’s warmth and his partner’s hospitality; the kitchen was top‑notch, and it’s a relief to find a genuine guesthouse like Mandorfer still around these days. I’ll remember the experience fondly and would definitely recommend it. The only downside was the street right outside the room, but that’s out of the hotel’s control.

The room felt dated – the furnishings and bathroom were clearly past their prime – and the constant hum of traffic and chatter from neighboring rooms made it hard to relax. Not the best value for a stay that should be quieter.

The only thing that made the stay bearable was the food and the breakfast I was invited to – both were solid. The room itself looked like a relic from the ’70s, with the sink oddly placed in the hallway, a heating system that wouldn’t go above a chill, and walls so thin you could hear every sound from the next room and the corridor.

A really charming little inn – I stayed there with my cat and found it cozy and conveniently located just outside Linz. The price was spot‑on for the area, making it a great little getaway.
