“Terrible experience. I strongly recommend avoiding this property!!!”

I booked this place in May and had planned my Rome trip well ahead of time. Instead of a smooth check‑in, we ended up with a ruined evening, a lot of stress, and the need to urgently find another place to stay. We arrived at about 9:45 PM. We managed to enter the property, but the room specified in the owner’s instructions was completely unprepared for our arrival. Personal belongings were scattered everywhere, leftover food was present, and the entire room was filthy. It looked as though someone was still living there or nobody had bothered to clean up after the previous guests. We immediately contacted the owner to explain the situation. Instead of addressing the issue or offering any solution, he repeatedly sent us the exact same message with instructions on how to enter the room. He completely ignored our explanations that the room was dirty and clearly not suitable for guests. Eventually, the owner simply stopped responding altogether, neither on WhatsApp nor through messages. As a result, we wasted over an hour trying to check in, and by 11 PM, we were forced to search for alternative accommodation in Rome. I strongly advise against booking this property. Apparently, making a reservation months in advance doesn’t guarantee that you’ll actually have a clean, habitable room waiting for you. And if something goes wrong, don’t expect any assistance from the owner. If you value your money, time, and peace of mind, I highly recommend choosing somewhere else to stay.

Everything was fine. It was very close to the metro, and shops and restaurants were nearby too. I recommend it, and we’ll definitely come back.

The apartment is a two‑minute walk from the Marconi metro stop. The host’s directions to reach the apartment were crystal clear. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable.

“Un incubo”

Close to a bus and metro stop. The neighborhood is tasteless, with prostitutes on the street outside the accommodation. The staff is non‑existent; they don’t even bother to check in or answer the phone or WhatsApp. The address they gave includes several buildings, and we had to make many calls to find out which building and floor to go to, after which they went silent and never responded, completely absent and indifferent. The room is small with a 1 m × 1 m bathroom. If you weigh more than 60 kg, you’ll forget you can enter the shower. In eight days of stay, they never cleaned the room or gave us clean towels, even though we asked repeatedly, and they didn’t answer calls or messages. We reported a Wi‑Fi and fridge malfunction, and they still ignored us. The TV in the room is just a decorative piece with only four channels, and you can only get it to work if you try. The important thing is that they ask for the tourist tax money in advance, before you even arrive, because they know that after the payment they will disappear and carelessly abandon you.
