How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
Everyone was nice and very accommodating. However, the place was overpriced, the air‑conditioning kept shutting off so the room got hot, and the windows were open which let in outside noise and trash from the dumpster. The website photos made it look like you were staying on the beach, which wasn’t the case.

The inn is charming, in a great spot near the beach, and the room was clean and comfortable. Because the building is old, it isn’t sound‑proofed, so it can be quite loud when someone is in the hallway or a loud family is in an adjacent room.

The property is old, the room and bed were small, the pillows were hard and uncomfortable. The restaurant in the hotel served overpriced food, and the inn offered no value for the price.

I could walk to Higgins Beach and it was just a short drive to Cape Elizabeth. The only drawback was the three flights of stairs to reach my room.
