Extremely comfortable bed, lovely room (attic). Would have loved a fry‑up for breakfast.
Deb was so welcoming. Thanks so much for a lovely stay
“Perfect home base to explore the Dee Valley”
I stayed two nights to hike the Dee Valley and Deb’s place was the perfect base. Breakfast was ready in the room—homemade gluten‑free muesli, yogurt, fruit, bread and jam, coffee and tea, milk and water so you can grab it whenever you want, which was great because I caught the 8.00 bus both days. I could drop my bag off early and let Deb know ahead of time. The place is just 5 min from the bus stop, where line 5 takes you straight to Wrexham (Erdigg Hall) or to Ruabon for the train to Chirk (Chirk Castle, Chirk circular hike + hike back along the canal and Pontsyllyte Aqueduct). I also did the Llangollen history trail to see Dinas Bran, Valle Crucis Abbey and the Horseshoe Falls. There’s so much else to explore and you’re perfectly located. The room was spacious, well lit, and had a view over the garden. The shared bathroom was very clean.
“The house was very comfortable, cozy and a pleasure to have stayed in. Facilities were brilliant, with everything by you”
Extremely well located, very cozy, clean, and characterful 3‑story property. Nothing negative.
The spot in Llangollen is spot on, and the room was comfy. Breakfast was nice, and the host kept in touch well.
