The breakfast was delicious, but the loft stairs were too steep and there was no washlet.

I wanted a TV in the living room.

The breakfast was excellent—best omelette I've ever had, packed with local ingredients. The cozy community lounge offered 24‑hour tea facilities and cookies, a nice touch. Our host, Jun san, gave us adapters as a gift, which was much appreciated. Nothing else to add.

Jun‑sama cooked an amazing breakfast that made my one‑night stay at Pension Gooseberry unforgettable; it was both tasty and visually stunning, with locally sourced ingredients. The French toast was superb, and I especially liked the local milk and melon that were offered. The rooms feel a bit barebones, as expected for a pension, but the private family bath can be reserved, which is handy—just keep that in mind to avoid surprises.

景色が良かった。冷たい水が飲めなかった。階段の昇り降りが大変だった。 The view was great. I couldn’t drink cold water. Climbing the stairs up and down was difficult.
