The staff were attentive when asked for help, but the towels were worn out and the room was dirty; we ordered a shrimp pasta at dinner, yet it had too much tomato sauce and the shrimp were dry. They didn’t offer a cleaning service for the room, and the floor was naturally wet.

The Beira Mar lodge had helpful, polite staff and a quiet, calm setting; the billiard table and foosball looked new or recently refurbished. Everything was fine.
