If you want to feel the real vibe of Sicily, this is the spot. The owners are friendly, helpful, and always smiling, making you feel like you're in an Italian film. Breakfast feels like a family gathering, and the room has a very atmospheric feel; it's worth experiencing that atmosphere firsthand. However, if you can't stand cats, you might have a problem, though they didn't bother us.

We were greeted warmly. The breakfast was varied and mostly homemade, and we enjoyed a family-style meal in a beautiful, quiet, green garden. Private parking was available. The four of us stayed in an apartment with a private roof terrace, and the décor had a mellow charm. Many local spots were within a 10‑minute walk to the promenade. The downside was that the B&B apartment was on a fairly busy street in town, though the new windows are good.

The location is perfect, with short walks to the beach, restaurants, and the train station. The fresh Sicilian breakfast is simply amazing. The host is very friendly, offers tips, and helps wherever she can. On the flip side, you have to adjust to the Sicilian way of life, and there are cats on the premises—something I think is important to know.

The stay was wonderful, with truly lovely hosts and an exceptional homemade breakfast that lets you taste authentic Sicilian hospitality. The quiet setting and nice garden make it ideal if you want to avoid crowds.
