“Amazing view”
The water‑front location was amazing, offering great views of Vesuvius, the Bay of Naples and Capri, and it was close to Naples and Pompeii. The hotel’s facilities were good, yet the building itself was rundown and clearly needed renovation. There were no nearby convenience stores or small shops for essentials. The restaurant food was amazing, but room service was poor: food came in a paper bag with plastic cutlery and there were no coffee or tea facilities in the room. We had an issue with the indoor heated pool; we were told in the morning when we could use it in the evening, so we returned from Naples city to make sure we could be in the pool for the full allotted time. When we arrived, we were told we couldn’t use it immediately, had to wait 45 minutes, and were given only one lane while the other lanes were still used for training. This inconvenience was not the hotel’s fault.
