How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
Pension Klimesch is very well situated with an amazing view over the lake and mountains, and it has a special charm that makes guests feel at home. The hosts are really nice people, always ready to help with questions and requests, and the breakfast is also very great!

The accommodation was pleasant and in a great spot, just a short walk from Mondsee lake and close to the center. It’s an ideal base for bike trips and hiking. The surrounding nature is beautiful and there are plenty of ways to stay active or relax. The staff were very kind, helpful, and welcoming, and we appreciated the safe bike storage. The weaker point for us was the breakfast, which was rather modest; we missed fresh fruit, a wider selection of cheeses and cured meats, sausages, and sweet pastries. Soft‑boiled eggs were available on request, and we would have liked a coffee machine instead of pre‑prepared instant coffee in a pot.

The renovated rooms, the large balcony overlooking the lake, the friendliness of the staff, the location right on the lakeside promenade, restaurants, swimming pool, and pier. A 15‑minute walk takes you to the center of Mondsee town with cafés and shops.

The bike storage was great, the rooms were well equipped, and the breakfast service was nice; the location is practical right by the lake. The hair dryer was poor, and there was no mosquito protection on the windows.
