“La déception du voyage”

The setting was lovely, but the stay was a huge disappointment. There was no air‑conditioning in the room, so we couldn’t sleep. We were charged taxes on everything—even for a take‑away slice of pizza that we had already paid for. The scooters we rented came with broken helmets that wouldn’t close, making them dangerous. The “Hair Spa” was just a shampoo station. The food was the worst on our trip, with microscopic portions and prices three times higher than normal. The bathroom in the room was old, damaged, and had no storage. In short, it was a letdown.

“Beautiful place to stay in Sayang.”

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the tropical jungle vibe set the mood. I’d suggest installing handrails on the many steps from reception to the lower levels and beach, especially the steeper ones, to help guests with knee issues. Also, the beach bar’s dishes are better than the restaurant menu, so a broader selection would improve the experience.

The property is beautiful, well‑maintained, and tastefully decorated with direct sea access. Snorkeling was possible right from the beach. The breakfast and food selection was varied and freshly prepared. The restaurant right on the beach was great. The water fountain with cold and hot water in the room was very pleasant. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, doing everything to make us feel comfortable. The spa offerings were professional and very enjoyable, and the price‑to‑value ratio was excellent. We stayed for four days, would have liked to stay longer, and would come back anytime. Those who cannot walk up stairs are not in the right place. Around the property there are no restaurants within walking distance. The great price‑to‑value ratio was not a problem for us.
