I checked in around 2 AM, and it was a nightmare before I was supposed to check in. I ended up staying a couple of hours and the guy at the front desk told me he would switch my booking since I was still on the check‑in from the previous day and that I should contact the hotel to get a refund. I did, but the hotel refused to refund me. I was charged twice, and when I explained this to the hotel, they kept insisting on a policy cancellation fee. The person at the front desk lied to me and was very dishonest.
