My son and I stayed in a place that basically consisted of two bedrooms—one with two beds, the other with a double bed—plus a small kitchen in one room and a bathroom. It was roomy, clean, and comfortable. The staff were excellent, friendly, and helpful, especially when arranging taxis and giving advice on local amenities and sites. The location of the Appart/hotel is really good; Lima is a large, spread‑out city and the Barranco neighbourhood has character, history, architecture, restaurants, bars, and plenty of small supermarkets. Casa Fanning is well positioned for all of these, near the main road through Barranco and close to Miraflores, and it is less than a 15‑minute walk to the Pacific Ocean. The lift is a bit old and small; it could use modernising.
