It was not functional, very noisy, the bathroom leaked so you could hear the other room and it wasn’t clean, and the internet connection was terrible. I didn’t enjoy anything. The restaurant only opened at noon, breakfast was just a slice of bread with butter and little jam, and lunch was often undercooked, so you had to go outside or eat in your room.

I don't understand why this hotel has such a high rating. Who even rated it? Homeless people, first time staying under a roof? In a month in Madagascar this is the worst hotel and accommodation option. Disgusting place. 1) Very noisy! The building is right on the road, even in the room not facing the road it's noisy, hard to sleep. 2) Inadequate staff. I arrived at night, was packing until 2-3 a.m., and asked for breakfast at 7-10 a.m. I had only about 4 hours left to sleep. The staff started banging on my door at 6 a.m.! This went on for an hour until 7 a.m., until I finally got up. When I asked “who is there” and “I’m sleeping”, the reaction was “just don’t speak to the mine.” They didn’t understand me in English. It turned out they brought breakfast! At 6 a.m., even though I asked for 7-10. 3) The breakfast is not just awful – it’s impossible to eat. The coffee was burnt, the oil was old with a margarine taste. I asked for milk for the coffee, but they only brought 20 grams. 4) The bedding was all with bugs. 5) The renovation is like a Soviet communal apartment, not just uncomfortable – it’s even unpleasant to be there. I do not recommend it at all! Near the airport there are other hotels with the same prices, but they are much more pleasant and comfortable. 6) At the end they even deliberately overcharged me. But I didn’t argue – I’m not upset about 5,000 ariary.

The place was clean and the staff were welcoming, but the floor kept creaking constantly, making a lot of noise, the rooms were poorly sound‑proofed, and the lights never went out, so the room was never truly dark.

It’s a charming all‑wood hotel with lovely parquet, great dining, and a very warm welcome that makes you feel comfortable. I did run into a small issue that bothered me: there was no Wi‑Fi in my room, so I had to work in the hallway. That’s why I only stayed one night. Also, the bathroom isn’t fully isolated from the neighboring room, so you can hear noises.

“Prima kamer, heerlijk eten, aardig personeel”

The room was spacious, the staff were friendly and spoke excellent English, and the food was delicious with a wide menu. It’s close to the airport and the Wi‑Fi worked well. Overall, a good price‑for‑value. The only downside was that the shower head couldn’t be hung; you had to hold it above your head while showering, which could be improved.
