I liked the location, but the hotel feels dated and needs a makeover; the room was small and basic, and it was overpriced. At night the door locked automatically, so I had to ring the bell for a porter to open it, and the lobby was filled with cigarette smoke right at the front entrance.

The room’s location was great, offering a beautiful view of the bay, and being in the center of downtown made walking to everything very convenient.

The location in the center of Donegal was good, and the staff were friendly. The hotel itself felt tired, and there weren’t enough staff during breakfast, though those who were present did a great job; Mai, in particular, was lovely.
