I got a spacious room with a comfortable bed and a very helpful team who even booked all my tours directly for me, but the hotel uses a strong insecticide that made the room smell so bad I couldn't stay there during the day, and the shower was okay but lacked much pressure, though you could still manage a decent shower.

The lodge was spotlessly clean and peaceful, set in a wonderful green oasis far from the dusty bustle of Victoria Falls township, and I highly recommend Nguni Lodge; the only downside was the lack of any real noise, which made the place feel a bit too quiet.

The Piccolo lodge is kept a short drive from the falls (5/10 minutes), offers a good à la carte breakfast both covered and in the garden in front of the pool, and the staff are super available and efficient at arranging transport and restaurant bookings, but one morning some breakfast items—like marmellata—had already run out from the day before and weren’t restocked, a minor detail that could use improvement.

The facilities were clean and the staff friendly; when I asked the hotel staff about the lack of a meeting time from the activity company I booked, they called the company for me, but there was no nearby place to shop.

The service and support from the staff was outstanding! They provided a great coordination of my activities to victoria falls, chobe and others. Highly recommend. Overall very good
