We were expecting to stay in the Manor House, but were given an ordinary motel room with nothing special, which was extremely disappointing since we were the only guests staying that night.

The location was ideal as there is an excellent coffee shop and also a bakery right across the road. The coffee was five star. Personally there is nothing I thinkq they Could improve. All the staff were so friendly and particularly the cleaning staff were very professional and and did a fantastic job if you

We dined at a lovely café across the road, and the location was central for our return to Christchurch, within walking distance of our friends. The rooms were comfortable and the showers were great.

After staying at St. George’s as a patient, the location was ideal. I needed an extra day to recover from surgery, but not at a hospital level of care. Booking the room was a last‑minute decision; I asked for the earliest check‑in and was told it would be as soon as I was discharged. Karen phoned me directly to confirm. Having another 24 hours in a peaceful, beautiful place definitely helped me manage a long drive home. The Peacock Suite was perfect for me; the comfy bed and pillows gave me a good night’s rest. Karen was a lovely host and nothing seemed too much trouble. Definitely a place to stay again in Christchurch. Nothing to add.
