“Ok, aber keine Empfehlung”
The balcony view (sea view booked) is very nice, and the hotel’s location is good. There’s a gym, you can train outside, and towels are provided. The safe costs 3 € per day and should definitely be included in the price. The balcony partition to the neighbor is too low, offering no privacy acoustically or visually. Elevators are narrow, old, and have long wait times, and sometimes they’re out of service due to the TÜV inspection (SGS “non‑favorable”) – but they’re still operational. Overall, the hotel is aging. Food is average, quality isn’t great, and the coffee is only average, though it’s made with real beans. In the room, only instant coffee is available. Twice, used glasses in the room weren’t replaced. Tables at meals are sometimes too few; only 2‑person tables are available, so you need luck to combine two tables for four. There were several instances of “cutlery shortage.”
