The location is perfect. The cleanliness and the bed were great. The room was too small for a dog and two people.

The place is smack in the middle of town, the gear is solid, and the staff are all smiles. The breakfast, though, is pretty plain and would be more fun if you could grab a pastry from a bakery instead.

The people on the front desk are very nice, open, friendly, and flexible. My room was clean, the beds were comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The hotel bar is cozy, stays open long with good drinks, and the prices are reasonable. The location is very central. Parking was ample in the on‑site underground garage. The only downside was that there was no scrambled eggs at breakfast – not a deal‑breaker, but nice to have. The bathroom had a bit of a musty smell even after airing out; the cause is unclear. I wish the room and bathroom had been about 10% bigger.

“Great overnight stay”

We were there after a ferry trip. Arrived late and left early. Rooms are great, beds and shower are really good. Staff is nice. Good breakfast for a good price

Everything about this place won me over😍 The hotel felt very comfortable, clean and, most importantly, safe – so I’d especially recommend it to solo‑traveling women and girls. It just feels cozy and well looked‑after❤️ I’d heard many good things about Motel One from a friend but had never stayed there myself until now 😍😍😍 I’m giving it a perfect ten out of ten and will definitely book Motel One again on future trips. Absolutely worth it😍
