“Concediu "altfel" in Apuseni”
The nature really justifies the price. There’s quiet, isolation, and views of the Coltesti fortress and Piatra Secuiului. No bears, thank God. The grass is mowed nicely and the wooden cabins are spacious. The hosts provided capsule coffee in various flavors in a dedicated spot. They care about the environment with selective recycling and compost. The eco‑toilet attached to the cabin was a revelation. You can start a campfire or cook a goulash over an open fire. The staff is very friendly. Pets are allowed at no extra cost. It’s a beautiful place, but it’s not the classic relaxation spot. The distance is 1.5 km on a country road from the Turda‑Aiud route. Without a car you’ll struggle, especially at night. There’s also a sheep pen with friendly shepherds on the trail. There’s no electricity in the cabins, so it feels like the Blair Witch Project in the Apuseni. The roofs are walked on by goats—no joke. The baths are about 200 m from the cabins, not very fun at night. The same goes for the fridge, coffee area, and phone charging zone—no signal. You get used to it if you really want to.
