Easy to find, great parking, extremely friendly staff, excellent food, and the room was clean and comfortable, but it was a bit petty that the tea bags didn’t make a good cup of tea and the coffee was worse.

Not much. Staff were friendly enough on check-in. No one around at check out. Where do I start? 1. The rooms are directly off a car park. No signs to tell people to be mindful of guests so we had people feet from our door and window talking loudly until 11pm. 2. Bed was broken and literally bent. mattress had no support. Possibly the most uncomfortable thing Ive ever led on. Pillows as thick as a sheet of cardboard. 3. No facilities whatsoever in the room. No fridge. Photo of rooms shows a smeg fridge. doesn't exist. 4. Shower stunk of mould with a dripping tap above the shower unit. Towels were basically hand towels. 5. This is a disgusting place to stay. Yes its only £70 a night, but for that you should at least expect a comfy bed and the basics. 6. Avoid booking here. A night sleeping in your car would be comfier

The hotel offered good value for money and the room was adequate and comfortable, but the Wi‑Fi was nonexistent in room 7, which I needed for work reports after hours—a request I had made when booking.

There was no breakfast facilities. The waste paper bins were not emptied We had cold water for two days, as the pub was not open when we left at 08.30 we could not report this to anyone. It is not a Hotel but a pub with rooms in converted outbuildings. The menu was limited in the restaurant. We were promised a partial refund due to the cold water issue, a week later we have received nothing
