Being next to the ferry made getting around the island a breeze, and staying in a tent felt like camping without the usual hassles; however, tent #9 was the one nearest the road and the traffic noise was pretty loud.

The tents looked stunning and the setting was perfect for a romantic getaway, the venue wasn’t crowded so it felt exclusive, but a few curlews kept us up in the middle of the night—just a minor annoyance.

The location is excellent, within walking distance of the ferry, the bus stop, decent cafés, Coles, and a Thai massage place just up the road, and the surrounding environment is simply beautiful; sitting on the deck at night watching birds and bats fly overhead and enjoying the stars was an absolute delight. The pool area is lovely with comfortable chairs and a good‑size umbrella to sit under. Overall I really enjoyed my stay at Magnetic Glamping; I had the resort almost to myself, so it was lovely and quiet, just what I needed. It is close to the main road (Sooning Street) so it can get quite noisy first thing in the morning with people on their way to work, but that was just a minor irritation.

The location was great, but there was no breakfast; additionally, there was no mirror above the vanity basin, it was behind the door, and there was no PP in the bathroom.

Extremely comfortable bed and pillows. Best I have ever had. Great set up, love the serenity, so much nicer than being stuck in a hotel with 4 concrete walls
