I liked the private courtyard, comfortable rooms, and terrific service; the spot near Shuhe Old Town was highly accessible and (I think) better than staying in Lijiang Old Town, and the staff were really helpful in notifying us of official closures related to the next planned part of our route. My kids were disappointed with the pool; it was a great pool for cooling off but too shallow for swimming, and it was difficult to find the property – it needs to provide the “address in local language” because translating the English names and addresses doesn’t work correctly.
